For Johns birthday we went to Tamworth snow dome were I sat and had wine while he went for a 'fresh' session haha. The snow dome gave me ideas though on future shoots ;)
Robyn Turnbull and Sian Louise Auld launched So Coco Rouge Sunday 29th May, myself and John Charles Taylor documented the evening, the launch was also fund raising for Cancer research and had fab prizes to be won. The girls did the hair and make-up on models who then had a catwalk showcasing hair and make-up which was done very well. Based in Liverpool I would highly recommend them as they are very passionate towards their work and lovely girls to.
Myself and Nic want to do a vintage looking/ editorial studio shoot at the beginning of June with Chloe Lloyd who last modelled for us in 2009 on the giant pearl series. Robyn will be doing hair and make-up. To get the older vintage look were thinking of using polaroid and film maybe grainy look.. I may also take some on hipstamatic on iphone just all round experimentation will be fun to try out.
Had a lovely beauty shoot with Sian & Robyn doing make-up and hair yesterday, Nic art directed and John C Taylor also photographed the shoot. Boss models Katy Chapman and Felix were a pleasure to work with. We wrapped up the shoot in half a day at Impact Photography studios in Preston, a lovely little space for studio work.
