Behind Scenes Muncaster Castle shoot

The fashion shoot at Muncaster castle was lovely, the surroundings were just mesmerising, the owls were very good natured, patient and Andy helped a lot with our enquiries and the staff were very accommodating which is massively appreciated!

On some of the shots I was looking for whimsical scenes so I was looking for light flares or unusual lightning streaming in through the windows etc

The images will be out in the Lancashire Life magazine fashion editorial in April which is the May issue.

Polaroids

I have been chilling out this morning, using my spare time to just take random dreamy photos of leaves and flowers with my Diana cam- great for making soft and dreamy looking photos!

Making acessories

I have been buying materials and finding bits to make for shoots and trying out the sewing machine. I haven't properly used one before so it was a practice test piece really.

I also bought spray painted collected bits from the garden which was fun!

I would love to use it as part of a head piece or on something but experimenting to see what could work.

Professional Photographer magazine

The black and white image of Jayn I took was chosen for the portfolio section of Professional Photographer magazine this March issue.

Making bits & bobs

Got my sewing machine yesterday, been trying out stitches- got bundles of material to try out with. I will post anything I make bits and bobs or just for shoots. Waiting on my stringing wire to try out as well. The Lancashire life shoot is now postponed till march, being published in the may issue out in April! Sounds confusing haha.

Also had a lovely valentines early on the weekend gone, John treated me to a meal at the Italian orchard. It was also our 5 years anniversary.

Looking forward to new York next month.

Sewing machine

Just ordered a sewing machine so I can have a go at making bits and bobs! Should be interesting to work on pieces. Also I'm finally getting to put the shoot at muncaster castle together, look forward to that at the begging of march.
